Glu Mobile has reported a record third quarter thanks to Kim Kardashian’s licenced game, which brought in $43m. The game has ranked at or near the top of Apple’s U.S. App Store charts for the most downloaded free game.

Kim Kardashian Hollywood game was released in June 2014 and uses the freemium business model. Although the game is free to play, players can use their iTunes or Google Play accounts to make in-game purchases of game currency to buy special items or to make the gameplay easier. Kim Kardashian Hollywood game has made $43.3 million in the third quarter (June to September) and has been downloaded more than 22.8 million times since it was launched in June. It is estimated that players have spent a combined 5.7 billion minutes hanging out with Kim.
